Vanessa Feltz’s ex Ben Ofoedu has spoken out amid his break up from his wife-to-be.
Vanessa, 60, and Ben, 50, met back in 2005 with the musician popping the question to the radio host just a year later.
The pair never made it down the aisle, however, and remained engaged up until their recent split.
In the wake of their break up, Ben has shared an image of a broken heart on his Instagram Story as Vanessa labelled herself as “extremely sad and disappointed” that their romance came to an end.
Just two days earlier, Ben shared a video of him sitting on the train listening to Fleetwood Mac. He captioned the post: “On the train vibez again [fire emojis] God bless if you’re reading this”.

His last post with Vanessa shared to his Instagram page was just last month and their pair seemed happier than ever as they opened up a box of red wine together.
Vanessa has been quiet on social media of late, and broke her silence yesterday as she posted a video addressing her break-up from Ben.
“Well I haven’t been on Instagram for three weeks and that’s because my relationship with Ben is over after 16 years,” the This Morning star began.

“I honestly didn’t know what to say on Instagram but now it’s clear that it’s over and I really do feel that once the trust in a relationship is gone, you can’t really get it back.
“And so I just wanted to say that obviously I feel incredibly sad and I am pretty disappointed and shocked and all those horrible things but also full of resolve. I am not going to let this defeat me.”
Vanessa went on: “I’m so glad to be living longer than my mum did. She died at 57 and, if the Lord spares me, I’m going to be 61 next month. So, I’m very, very grateful to be alive and I want to carry on feeling that way and I want to celebrate.
“I want to find fun and laughter anywhere I can and I know it’s not going to be easy, but I’m absolutely determined to do it.”
Dozens of Vanessa’s celebrity pals have voiced their support to the star and sent her lots of love.
Holly commented beneath Vanessa’s post: “We simply love you to bits… [three heart emojis]”.
And cleaning guru, Mrs Hinch posted a series of heart emojis. Meanwhile, radio presenter Zoe Ball wrote: “feel the love that surrounds you always wonderful V. [heart emoji]”.
And Myleene Klass mirrored Mrs Hinch by leaving a heart emoji.
Ben and Vanessa haven’t confirmed why they split, but there’s been speculation that Ben was unfaithful.
